Mears Michigan and The sand dunes are seemingly everywhere in the area, and are nestled between Silver Lake and Lake Michigan. What a site to see! It is about a two mile walk from the entrance of the sand to observing the water of Lake Michigan. It is so much fun being out there it seems like you�re in a desert in some distant country but with all the benefits of knowing you are safe on American soil. The ridges you see in the sand are caused from the wind running across the grains. I will be going back for sure!!

I have always liked taking photographs as far back as I can remember So when I Attended University of Alaska I took the opportunity to take several photography classes while earning my associate's degree in business. My passion for photography grew even more and now I spend almost all my time with it. Currently I use an Olympus E 410 /10 megapixel digital cameras and a Cannon EOS ELAN for film photography.
